You can now check the availability of a Golden Number or select an easy-to-remember number from a pick list. Should your number of choice be available, please contact the SmartAccess Service contact centre on 08000 SMART (76278) to reserve or order the number. Your Golden Number can also be an alpha numeric number. Please note that these Golden Numbers will be charged at an additional monthly fee. Refer to subscriber charges above.
For system generated SmartAccess numbers and bulk reservations please contact the SmartAccess Service Centre on 08000 SMART (76278). Numbers falling outside the Telkom number range, i.e ICASA numbers will have to be requested from ICASA via the SmartAccess Service Centre. The process of requesting these numbers with ICASA can take up to 28 working days as prescribed by the Numbering Plan Regulation.
NB: For all SmartAccess (FreeCall, ShareCall, MaxiCall) the subscriber will be responsible for call costs for destinations terminating on other service providers. (Ported Numbers included)
