Property Development Connect, also known as PD Connect is mainly about the provisioning of telecommunication infrastructure in new high density and multi-tenanted residential developments as well as in business developments. The service is specifically designed for property developers, architects, engineers and other related property development services.

PD Connect provides property developers a single point of contact with Telkom and property developers at the click of a button or through a PD Connect Business Administrator on 0860 10 13 12.

Its aim is twofold:

Firstly, to assist in pre-planning the communication infrastructure requirements of residential and businesses developments.
Secondly, to provide end-to-end state-of-the-art technology and services such as bundled voice, data and internet services.

PD Connect provides a platform for both Telkom and the property development industry to work together to ensure proper delivery of communication services that will ultimately enhance the lifestyle of tenants or residents.

Working together with property developers, architects, engineers and related services, we can plan and deliver the right communications infrastructure to offer end-users state-of-the-art connectivity options. By following this method, Telkom can meet the industry needs for first class communication services and add value to their properties.

For Developers

PD Connect provides a single point of contact with Telkom: you only need to phone our Business Administrator and quote your PDC reference number to establish Telkom's progress made with your project.

Should you not be able to phone us during office hours, our web site also offers you another convenient two-way channel to communicate with Telkom, at a time that suits you. Simply log a request and our Business Administrator will investigate, and phone you back.

Telkom also promises to take ownership of the communication needs of your new buyers. After they have indicated their initial interest, we will pro-actively phone them, establish what they need and follow up, until their individual services have been installed, taking this burden off your shoulders.

As a registered PDC member, Telkom strives to offer superior service to developers who notify us in time:

Behind the scenes, PD Connect serves as an enhanced monitoring and tracking tool that automatically flags projects for further action.
Special arrangements can be made between developers and Telkom, e.g. obtaining commitment from Telkom that your complex will be ADSL enabled (conditions do apply). Each development is unique and will be accordingly.

We also have products and services available to Body Corporates, i.e InterCall,that can save the future Body Corporate thousands of Rands and won't require capital lay out from developers!

We'll phone them to establish their needs and advise on the best solutions available for their unique lifestyle. So, we save new home buyers the hassle of visiting a Telkom shop or making a call to a Call Centre. This will be done through the SmartMoves initiative. This service enables registered Property Development Connect users to submit sales leads to Telkom. Telkom provides home buyers with a one-stop-shop for all their communication requirements, from access lines to Broadband to Internet services to telephones and modems.
