TI-DIS service categories available:
Gold – National Plus
The National Plus service provides the customer with access to Telkom's Internet Protocol (IP) Network as well as access to our local peering partners. No IP addresses are provided with the National Plus configuration.
Gold – Variable Capped National/International
The Variable service provides access to Telkom's IP Network and international bandwidth in customer-specified ratios. National bandwidth has the ability to burst to the full link speed when the international portion is underutilised and capacity is available. The level of international connectivity is determined by the customer requirement, and configured accordingly, enabling access to international connectivity up to the stipulated international portion of the link speed. The international allocation required is based on increments of 64kbps for line speeds lower than 1984kbps, and increments of 1Mbps on line speeds above 2Mbps. The service is configured on the international stacker routers accordingly.
Gold – Burstable National/International
This Burstable service provides access to Telkom's IP Network as well as International bandwidth. This service is split on a 75% National/ 25 % International allocation of bandwidth and has the ability to burst to the full bandwidth, subject to network conditions/ availability. The service is configured on the International stacker routers accordingly.
Gold – IP Transit
This service provides the customer with 100% International bandwidth. If the bandwidth is not utilised for International traffic it can be used for Local traffic as well.
Silver – National/International
This service provides access to Telkom's IP Network as well as International bandwidth. This service is configured as a 75% National/ 25 % International split. The International portion of 25% is capped and shared between four customers and no guarantees or allocations on International are provided with this service. Customers sharing a pool with four customers in total will be competing for the 25% International allocation. Local bandwidth is not shared. The Silver service is only available for speeds from 64kbps to 1984kbps.

Congestion Management - provides the customer with the ability to optimise Internet bandwidth usage per link, during periods of congestion, by prioritising traffic types by protocol. The traffic categories available are: Web traffic, file transfer, email and the remaining falls in a general or default category. The default category can not be less than 25% of total allocation.

Terms and Conditions
Service provision is dependent on the availability of the required access infrastructure and capacity.
The TI-DIS service configurations are available in increments of 64kbps to a maximum of 1984kbps as well as in increments of 1Mbps from 3Mbps to a maximum of 140Mbps.
The TI-DIS Silver service is only available for speeds up to 1984kbps.
All service configurations, except the National Plus configuration, receive static IP addresses. The IP addresses are leased through TelkomInternet and will be returned to TelkomInternet after the cancellation of the corresponding TI-DIS service, or if IP addresses are being mismanaged by the customer.
A router is required on the customer premises to connect the LAN.
Prices are subject to Telkom's annual price adjustment.
